Insekan Necklace
"Insékan" means "the North Star" in the Tuareg language.
Gold-plated bronze pendant adorned with a pearl on a 45cm gold-plated brass chain Designed in Paris and handcrafted by Tuareg artisans in Niger. The story of the Insékan necklace: In the Sahara, motifs and jewelry often possess magical powers. For the Tuareg and Fulani people of the Oudaba, each small object worn carries meaning, a story, a strength that protects them and gives them courage to face the desert. Within the "tchatchat" corolla motif, which we love at Ombre Claire, we have placed a small mother-of-pearl pearl. This pendant is light, delicate, and subtly shimmers.
